Our Latest Adventure:
Our latest adventure training took place in North Wales when we saw Ozoners kayaking and canoeing on the River Dee, the home of the very first ‘Kayak Slalom’ course.
This trip was a colourful and classic Ozone weekend, with demonstrations by our very own Instructor Mark Armstrong who proved why the Parachute Regiment fly everywhere! The Royal Marines tried to help out, but sometimes a lost cause is exactly that!
As always, your Instructors were impressed with the aptitude and dedicated approach shown by all Ozoners on the water, and we are convinced that you will all make ‘Paddlers’! However, Ray Mears may have a few tips on your tent erecting skills; mainly not booby trapping entries into and out of the tents with guide ropes!
As always, Ozone showcased excellent skills in the dodgy Jazz pubs of Llangollen….a great night was had by all!
