Question – When did you establish Ozonefit?

Q – What made you choose Preston as the location?

After visiting Avenham Park one day by chance, I thought that it was the most Amazing park and that it would be  perfect for fitness sessions due to it’s undulating terrain, benches and open spaces. Avenham Park Preston is the Jewel of Parks in Lancashire……there is no where that I would rather exercise!

Q – Why Military Style fitness rather than any other type of fitness?

Developing my own Military style Fitness brand seemed like a natural progression. I discovered so much about my own body and it’s capabilities during my time in the Royal Marines, and I thought it would be great for others to experience the buzz and enjoyment that inherently comes with this form of fitness session.

Q – What is Military Fitness all about?

Simply put, it’s about running, jumping, pushing, pulling, rolling and lunging our way around a beautiful park whilst having fun and working hard together to get fitter! There is a lot of good banter and members and Instructors alike support and motivate each other when the going gets tough. For me, it’s the ultimate way to exercise!

Q – What Ozonefit is all about?

Camaraderie, motivation, results and fun. Ozonefit isn’t just about exercising outside, we pride ourselves on creating a social environment where anyone is welcome. We also encourage our members to step out and do something different, such as participating in our Adventures. As a group, we have undertaken White Water Rafting, Kayak/Indian Canoeing on the river Dee, Gorge Scrambling and Coasteering among other activities, not to mention our legendary nights out!

Q – Does the weather conditions affect if the class is on or not?

The weather is Ozone’s 3rd dimension. Most of our members prefer the rain as it is more fun, as a bit of mud here and there goes along way! Regardless of what the weather decides to throw at us, Ozoners cope well. In poor weather it’s great to see the members dig in and help each other out, the bond between them is just like it was in the Marines;people working together to achieve. It puts a smile on an Instructors face!

Q – If people were to join Ozonefit outdoor fitness, how long would it take to see results?

There are many variables, how often you attend, how hard you work, are you looking for weight loss or trying to boot your fitness levels to another dimension! If you typically attend 2-3 times per week we guarantee that you will start to feel different within 2-3 weeks and within a month or 2 you will start to see the changes to your energy levels and physique. You will burn around 550 – 800 calories on a single Ozone session and this is great if your aim is to stay lean or lose weight. Due to the multitude of strength exercises that we use, your muscles will also develop desirable tone and shape that is only possible through exercise. Results are there for everyone to achieve, you just have to want them enough!

Q – Why should students come and join in the classes?

Part of student life is about experiencing what life has to offer and to have fun. Ozone can certainly help contribute to these experiences whilst giving student’s minds a rest from the monotony of study and pressure. Exercise helps to release stress and can help you see things clearer, increasing energy levels and focus whilst keeping you fit and healthy for life, not to mention all the partys!

Q – If you could sum up the classes in one word what would that be?

Oxygen!
